West Ham players spotted on the streets of Prague at 5am after Europa Conference League final win

A number of West Ham players and staff, including David Moyes, celebrated their historic Europa Conference League win into the early hours of Thursday morning.

The Hammers lifted their first major trophy in 58 years on Wednesday after goals from Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen sealed a dramatic 2-1 win against Fiorentina in the Europa Conference League final.

David Moyes’ side, who beat Gent and AZ Alkmaar in the latter stages of this season’s tournament, were filmed partying in the Fortuna Arena changing room, with Bowen’s “on fire” song featuring heavily throughout.

Soon after, some of the West Ham squad celebrated their famous victory by dancing in the streets of Prague city centre.

West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola was spotted holding a portable music player as he stepped off the team bus at 2am, while Moyes and his backroom staff joined in with the post-match celebrations.

Jarrod Bowen danced along to the song that affectionately celebrates his relationship with Dani Dyer, and the likes of Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Said Benrahma followed.

In fact, Benrahma could be seen taking selfies with fans on the streets of Prague at 5am, while Rice and Moyes were pictured dancing the night away.

West Ham boss David Moyes was understandably emotional after picking up his first piece of major silverware.

Speaking to BT Sport at full-time, he said: “This is fantastic. I have had a long career in football and you don’t get many moments like this. These sorts of moments as managers don’t come around often. This is a great moment for us.

“It is a brilliant club in the East End of London that does wonderful work in the community. It is a great family club. It is getting better and stronger. This is another step on the road of continued progress.

“We have gone unbeaten in Europe, which is incredible. We only lost last year in a semi-final, two incredible years and we get another one now.”

As you can see in the footage above, Moyes proceeded to put his Europa Conference League medal around the neck of his father, 87.
