Werner set for loan-out to Spurs

Sky Germany experiences that RB Leipzig and Tottenham are within the remaining phases of negotiating a spring mortgage for striker Timo Werner.

It appears to be like to be the case that German striker Timo Werner will get his sought-after mortgage again to the Isle in any case. In line with Sky Germany, the 27-year-old is headed again to London for a six-month loan-out to Tottenham Hotspur. Amid competitors from Loïs Openda, Yussuf Poulsen, and Benjamin Sekso, Werner presently sits in fourth place on RB coach Marco Rose’s depth chart.

The left-lane striker has been restricted to simply 13 appearances (three begins) this season. Werner has scored two targets this season. Parking him out on mortgage however proves problematic as the previous German worldwide is rumored to attract a wage of roughly €10 million yearly. The North London facet presumably has the monetary means to choose up Werner’s wages within the short-term.
