Watch Donny van de Beek as he steps up his return from injury 08 May 2023

The Dutchman can be seen working hard in the gym, with the focus now on our no.34 returning to the fold for the start of the 2023/24 season.

Erik ten Hag’s side have only five games left before the end of the current campaign, and the boss provided an update on the midfielder’s plan back in January.

“I think it is quite positive news,” Ten Hag told club media at Carrington.

“Of course, the bad news is he is out for the rest of the season, but the good news is, in the long term, his knee will be okay and he will be ready again to play at the highest levels and will be ready for the start of pre-season.”
