US Open Doubles Champion Max Purcell Accepts Provisional Suspension

Reigning US Open doubles champion Purcell has elected to enter a voluntary provisional suspension below the Tennis Anti-Doping Program, the ITIA introduced at this time.

The 26-year-old Aussie, at the moment ranked No. 12 in doubles, has admitted to a breach of Article 2.2 of the TADP regarding the usage of a Prohibited Technique, and requested to enter right into a provisional suspension on December 10, 2024.
