After slipping and falling and being pressured to retire from his first-round match with Rinky Hijikata at Queen’s Membership, Frances Tiafoe stays hopeful of enjoying at Wimbledon.

The 28-year-old World No.28 has a Grade 1 sprain of his proper MCL. He fell within the second sport of the third set at his baseline in Monday’s contest, and was writhing in ache for a prolonged time. Tiafoe ultimately limped off the courtroom and was favoring his proper hip space.
After a medical timeout he returned to the courtroom, performed yet another level and promptly retired from the match.

“I’ve Grade 1 MCL sprain,” Tiafoe posted on Instagram, then hopefully added: Going to spend the subsequent few weeks rehabbing to prepare for Wimbledon.”
It has been a troublesome season for the previous World No.10. He has gained 13 and misplaced 14 and sagged within the rankings from 16 to 29.
Since reaching the Houston last in April, Tiafoe has misplaced 8 of 11 matches.
