Peyton Stearns has been combating a abdomen difficulty for a number of weeks. Remarkably she managed wins over Dayana Yastremska, Ons Jabeur and Zheng Qinwen throughout her journey to Doha and Dubai.
Now the Forty third-ranked American is aware of the explanations for her struggles: E. Coli.
“These previous three weeks have been a tough experience….fixed abdomen ache, exhaustion, journeys to the lavatory and never realizing what’s occurring,” 23-year-old Stearns wrote on social media. “After a number of checks, I lastly discovered E. coli was the offender. It’s been irritating not realizing what was fallacious, however now that I do, I can deal with getting higher.

Stearns, who has already performed 14 matches on the season (7-7) says she hopes to again at full energy at Indian Wells.
