Corruption will price six gamers a number of years of their potential taking part in careers.
Six present and former gamers have been hit with suspensions and fines for match fixing offenses in what the Worldwide Tennis Integrity Company calls “historic corruption offenses.”

The sanctions are linked to a prison case heard in 2023 involving a match-fixing syndicate in Belgium.
Collaboration between the ITIA and Belgian authorities led to a five-year custodial sentence for the chief of the syndicate, Grigor Sargsyan, the ITIA mentioned in an announcement.

5 of the gamers admitted to breaches, referring to matches performed in 2017 and/or 2018. Three French tennis gamers accepted agreed sanctions, waiving their proper to a listening to earlier than an impartial Anti-Corruption Listening to Officer (AHO).

Jerome Inzerillo, 34, who reached a career-high world singles rating of 354 in July 2012, accepted an agreed sanction of 5 years and 7 months, with a positive of $50,000, of which $35,000 is suspended. The suspension started on 27 October 2024, and can finish on 26 Could 2030.
42-year-old David Guez, who reached a career-high world singles rating of 116 in July 2010, accepted an agreed sanction of 4 years, with a positive of $25,000, of which $17,500 is suspended. The suspension started on 25 October 2024, and can finish on 24 October 2028.
Romain Bauvy, age 30, who reached a career-high world doubles rating of 758 in March 2016, accepted the identical sanction. The suspension started on 6 November 2024, and can finish on 5 November 2028.
Two gamers requested that their instances be referred to an impartial anti-corruption listening to officer (AHO) to find out sanction. AHO Janie Soublière dominated on the instances of French tennis gamers Yannick Jankovits and François-Arthur Vibert.
The 38-year-old Jankovits, who reached a career-high world singles rating of 226 in September 2015, has been suspended for 2 years, and fined $28,000, of which $21,000 is suspended. The 34-year-old Vibert, who reached a career-high world singles rating of 591 in September 2012, has been suspended for 2 years and three months, and fined $35,000, of which $28,500 is suspended. Agustin Moyano, 34, from Argentina, who reached a career-high world singles rating of 1343 in September 2015, denied the costs, and requested a full listening to. AHO Charles Hollander KC dominated on the case, issuing Moyano with a suspension of 15 years, and a positive of $10,000. The suspension started on 2 December 2024, and can finish on 1 December 2039.
Throughout their suspensions, the gamers are prohibited from taking part in in, teaching at, or attending any tennis occasion licensed or sanctioned by the members of the ITIA (ATP, ITF, WTA, Tennis Australia, Fédération Française de Tennis, Wimbledon and USTA) or any nationwide affiliation.
