Serie A: Immobile suffers a car accident while traveling with his children: Collides with tram

Ciro Immobile had a terrible scare on Sunday morning. The Lazio striker has had a traffic accident in which he crashed with his Land Rover Defender against a street tram in Rome. The front of his vehicle, as can be seen in the picture, was destroyed. The player’s two daughters were also travelling with him.

The collision was not the fault of the footballer, according to his first words after the crash.

“The tram ran a red light. Luckily I’m fine, my arm only hurts a little,” said the Lazio captain in a statement reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Immobile is now in hospital. One of his daughters left the scene of the accident with a neck brace. In addition, seven other people were injured, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, as other vehicles were also involved in the accident.
