Serie A: AC Milan warn Real Madrid: We want Brahim

Brahim Diaz is all the rage at AC Milan. As we explained a few days ago in MARCA, the question about the future of the Spaniard will be central for Milan and Real Madrid in the coming weeks.

The player, who is coming to the end of his loan spell after three years in the north of Italy, is liked by both clubs and his level of performance has been growing with the passing of games.

At the end of the season, he aims to be fundamental in Milan‘s fight for their two objectives: to go as far as possible in the Champions League and secure a top-four place in Serie A.

From the Stadio San Siro they are very clear that Brahim is a fundamental part of the project: “He has done very well in recent years. We will sit down at the table with Real Madrid to see if the conditions are right. We would like to aim for that,” declared Frederic Massara, Milan‘s sporting director, ahead of the match against Empoli this Good Friday.

As we already anticipated, there is no fixed clause agreed in advance between the two European clubs but the purchase price would be between 25 and 30 million Euros. Meanwhile, Diaz has two more years on his contract with Real Madrid: until 2025.

From San Siro, they want to bet on the playmaker, who has made a place in Stefano Pioli‘s starting eleven… and has left exhibitions like the one at the Stadio Maradona a few days ago, when he scored and assisted against Napoli in the 0-4 win. His value is on the rise and in the fashion capital they know it.

However, Milan do not want to pay the aforementioned amount for the Spaniard and will negotiate a reduction. Or that is their intention. But Real Madrid have plans for Brahim: “After all, Madrid is the place where Brahim wants to succeed one day. What is clear, and the player knows it, is that in Madrid they want him back, no matter what,” wrote Juan Castro in MARCA recently.
