They were once rivals, then lopsided rivals, now they are fashionistas and on good terms.
Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova met at the Moncler Genius fashion show in London, and this noirish photo, sent to the ‘Gram by Sharapova, gave viewers a snippet of what life after tennis is for these two legends.

Famously, Sharapova won two of the pair’s first three meetings, including a victory over Williams in the 2004 Wimbledon final. More famously, Williams won their last 19 tilts, finishing with a 20-2 record against the Russian.
These days they meet on neutral territory, and embrace their shared legacy.
