Sei Younger Kim a part of three-way tie atop LPGA Thailand

CHONBURI, Thailand — Former Ladies’s PGA Championship winner Sei Younger Kim moved from second place right into a three-way tie for the lead after two rounds of the LPGA Thailand event on Friday.

Kim, who gained the 2020 Ladies’s PGA title by 5 strokes at Aronimink Golf Membership in Pennsylvania, had a two-round complete of 10-under 134 on the Siam Nation Membership Outdated Course at Chonburi southeast of Bangkok.

She was tied with Madelene Sagstrom and Patty Tavatanakit, who every shot 67 on Friday. They’d a one-stroke lead over three gamers.

First-round chief Peiyun Chien, who led Kim by two strokes after the primary spherical, shot 72 Friday and was in a gaggle two strokes behind the leaders. Defending champion Lilia Vu had a 67 Friday and was 4-under and 6 strokes behind the leaders.

LPGA tournaments are additionally scheduled over the following two weeks in Singapore and China.
