Roland Garros Organizers Deliver French Veterans and Rising Stars Wild Cards

They include 34-year-old Benoit Paire, whose best result at his home major was reaching the fourth round in 2019.

30-year-old Kristina Mladenovic, best known for her multiple major doubles titles that led her to becoming a former World No. 1 in doubles also received a singles wildcard. Mladenovic reached a career high of No. 10 in singles in 2017 and achieved her best result at Roland Garros that same year by getting to the quarterfinals.

Clara Burel, Séléna Janicijevic, Léolia JeanJean, Diane Parry and Jessika Ponchet joined her in the women’s main draw.

Also included in the men’s main draw selection were 18-year-old Arthur Fils, 20-year-old Arthur Cazaux, Hugo Gaston, and Hugo Grenier.

The other wild cards determined by the reciprocal agreements between the French Tennis Federation (FFT) and the Australian and American tennis federation will be announced at a later date.

Main draw play at Roland Garros will begin on May 28.
