Quin Snyder is closing on a deal to become the new Hawks’ head coach.

Former Jazz head coach Quin Snyder is nearing an agreement to become the next coach of the Atlanta Hawks, according to multiple reports.

Quin Snyder served as an assistant coach for the Atlanta Hawks before accepting the head coaching role for the Utah Jazz in 2014. The Jazz achieved a 373-264 record while making the playoffs in six out of eight seasons under Snyder.
