Report – LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam new member at Augusta Nationwide

Annika Sorenstam, the best LPGA participant of the fashionable period, turned a member at Augusta Nationwide Golf Membership this month when the famed course’s new season started, Golfweek reported Tuesday, citing a number of sources.

Augusta Nationwide didn’t touch upon the report, because it historically has stored its membership checklist underneath wraps.

Girls weren’t allowed membership on the house of the Masters till 2012. Former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and financier Darla Moore have been the primary girls granted Augusta Nationwide membership.

Sorenstam, 53, has received 97 skilled tournaments throughout her profession, together with 72 on the LPGA Tour. The Swede has 10 main championships to her title and captured the 2021 U.S. Senior Girls’s Open title as properly.
