Police say officers shot man with axe, firebomb earlier than Euro 2024 match

BERLIN (AP) — German police mentioned Sunday they shot and wounded a person who was threatening them with an axe and a firebomb within the northern metropolis of Hamburg, hours earlier than it hosted a match within the Euro 2024 soccer match.
