Elena Rybakina’s second title of 2024 has taken her again to No.4 on this week’s up to date WTA rankings.
The 24-year-old Kazakh, who defeated Daria Kasatkina for her seventh profession title this weekend in Abu Dhabi, vaults Jessica Pegula, who drops to No.5. Rybakina is the one mover contained in the WTA’s Prime 10 this week.
There wasn’t a lot motion within the Prime 20 both. Kasatkina jumped a spot to No.13, flip-flopping with Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia, whereas Madison Keys and Petra Kvitova every slid up a spot as Veronika Kudermetova dropped two spots to No.18.
On the high of the WTA rankings, Iga Swiatek stays. The Pole is commencing her 89th week at No.1 this week (tenth all-time, and 9 weeks behind Lindsay Davenport (98 weeks).
Pliskova Begins Ascent
