Ten girls from Pacific nations – Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu – are attending the Australian Open this week as a part of the Pacific Girls Leaders in Tennis program.

The management program is a part of Tennis Australia’s Pacific Girls and Ladies in Tennis – Rising on to the World Stage program. Funded by the Australian Authorities’s elite sports activities pathways program, PacificAus Sports activities, this system goals to assist and empower Pacific girls to take up management positions each on and off the courtroom by way of skilled improvement and networking alternatives.
