Naomi Osaka will launch her comeback in Brisbane.
Two-time Australian Open champion Osaka has dedicated to taking part in the Brisbane Worldwide, set for December 31-January seventh.
“I’m actually enthusiastic about getting again out on courtroom and competing,” Osaka stated. “I at all times love beginning my season in Brisbane and may’t wait to return.
“The Brisbane Worldwide is such an awesome event and can set me up for an excellent comeback this summer time.”
It is going to be Osaka’s first event since she gave start to her child daughter on July seventh.
Brisbane would be the former world No. 1’s tune-up event for the Australian Open.
The 26-year-old Osaka, who has reunited with coach Wim Fissette for her comeback, received the 2019 and 2021 Australian Open championships.
