Olivia Gadecki will be part of 12 different Australians in the principle draw of the US Open after finishing a profitable marketing campaign within the qualifying occasion.

Olivia Gadecki will contest a Grand Slam fundamental draw for the second time in her profession after finishing a profitable marketing campaign in US Open qualifying.

The Queenslander’s third consecutive match win at Flushing Meadows was her most emphatic one, with Gadecki requiring solely 44 minutes to beat No.26 seed Emina Bektas.

Gadecki registered eight aces in her 6-1 6-1 victory over the American, who at world No.128 is ranked 11 locations greater.

It adopted wins this week over Frenchwoman Concord Tan and Louisa Chorica, one other American.

Gadecki was dominant from the outset in opposition to Bektas, breaking serve within the opening sport and rapidly recovering from dropping her personal serve by successful 5 straight video games to assert the 23-minute first set.

The second set was much more convincing, with the 21-year-old Gadecki surrendering solely 4 factors on serve.

Gadecki subsequent faces Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva, who reached the fourth spherical on her current debut at Wimbledon, within the US Open’s first spherical.

It was a harder day for fellow Australians Kimberly Birrell and Marc Polmans in US Open qualifying, with each falling within the remaining spherical.

Gadecki, in the meantime, joins the 13-strong Australian contingent – 4 girls and 9 males – in fundamental draw motion on the remaining Grand Slam of the 2023 season.
