Julian Nagelsmann has shared his preliminary ideas on how you can fill the void left by Toni Kroos within the German nationwide group.

Following Germany’s 2-1 extra-time loss to Spain at Euro 2024 on Friday, Toni Kroos is retiring from soccer.

At a press convention on Saturday, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann mentioned his preliminary plan to fill the void left by the legendary midfielder, evaluating Bayern Munich’s Aleksander Pavlovic and Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller to the 34-year-old.

“It will likely be very tough to interchange him one-to-one,” Nagelsmann admitted.

“We have already got candidates in ‘Pavlo’ and Angelo Stiller who’ve the same model of play. They should proceed their good performances within the new season.

“Toni has at all times stated that he’s not the one savior. In the long run, we will substitute him,” stated Nagelsmann.

Germany kick off their 2024/25 UEFA Nations League marketing campaign in opposition to Hungary in September.
