Mo Salah’s agent breaks silence on Liverpool star’s future amid claims he could leave Anfield

Mohamed Salah’s agent has set the record straight following reports the Liverpool star could be willing to leave Anfield this summer.

Salah, 30, signed a new three-year deal in July of last year to keep him at Anfield until 2025.

But his future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks, with Liverpool languishing down in seventh in the Premier League.

A report from Spanish publication Fichajes has claimed Salah could be willing to leave Liverpool at the end of the season if the club fails to qualify for the Champions League.

It has also been claimed that the Reds would be prepared to sell Salah, with PSG named as a potential suitor for the Egyptian.

However, Salah’s agent – Ramy Abbas Issa – has hit back at suggestions Salah could leave the club this summer.

“Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn’t even crossed our minds,” he tweeted.
