Manchester United fans think Jadon Sancho will be ‘unstoppable’ next season after Erik ten Hag exchange

Manchester United fans believe that Jadon Sancho is going to be “unstoppable” next season after a clip of a pep talk Erik ten Hag gave him yesterday has gone viral.

The England international sent a low ball to the back post, which Martial slotted past Kepa Arrizabalaga to extend the lead given to them by Casemiro in the first half at Old Trafford.

And Sancho’s performance during the comfortable win has been lauded by some fans as his “best” so far this season.

After the game, a tweet featuring a clip of the winger getting a pep talk from the United manager on the touchline went viral.

The tweet, which has garnered over 350,000 views already reads: “Sancho under Ten Hag is going to be unstoppable, bookmark this tweet.”

The 18-second clip sees the enthusiastic head coach giving the youngster a gameplay run-down, which Sancho can be seen intently listening to.

United fans have since flocked to the comments to debate the footage and air their opinions on whether the 23-year-old will have a bright future at Old Trafford or not.

One Twitter user wrote: “Sancho’s best performance last night, he was insanely good.”

Another said: “This moment right here… I’m convinced that whatever Erik said here was absolutely crucial and the reason why Sancho had such a good performance.

“Sancho after this conversation reached the level we know he’s capable of. Very happy for him!”

A third wrote: “I might not rate Sancho like before but after this little talk and went on the right be became a different player compared to [the] first half.”

However, not everyone agreed that the 23-year-old is going to live up to his hype.

One said: “Yeah just like he was unstoppable this year.”

A second wrote: “He will only be unstoppable if he gets started. I have yet to see him take on his man like [Alejandro] Garnacho does.”

A third tweeted: “No he won’t. Overrated player and should be sold.”

Elsewhere, another United follower put their feelings across and wrote: “No please. He should be sold.”

This season, the winger has made 25 Premier League appearances and scored five goals for Ten Hag’s side.

Sancho’s contract doesn’t expire until 2026, so he has plenty of time to prove himself at his boyhood club.
