Man Utd Academy awaits EFL Trophy and UEFA Youth League draws

The 64-team tournament – which pits squads of Under-19s against one another – will begin this September, and the draw for the group stage is set to take place on 31 August in Monaco.

United qualified for the competition due to our first team earning a Champions League spot with a top-four finish in the Premier League.

We last took part in the UEFA Youth League in 2021/22, where the Reds progressed from a group that included youth teams representing Atalanta, Villarreal and Young Boys, before being eliminated on penalties by Borussia Dortmund.

Makes sure you stayed tuned on ManUtd.com and in the United App for updates on 2023/24 for our Academy sides.
