With issues not going properly for Timo Werner this season, rumors of a winter exit for the RB Leipzig attacker have surfaced. However Die Roten Bullen don’t count on him to go anyplace in January.

“I assume that he’ll play the second half of the season with us. We all know what he can do, he simply has to point out it on the pitch once more,” RB Leipzig sporting director Rouven Schröder instructed Bild.

Nonetheless, Schröder will not utterly rule out a January exit.

“We’ll see what occurs, soccer is a day-to-day enterprise.”

Werner, 27, is contracted to Leipzig till 2026. He has scored two targets in 14 matches for Leipzig this season.
