In 2022 the California desert was a happy place for Nick Kyrgios. His next trip to Tennis Paradise will have to wait.
Kyrgios has pulled out of Indian Wells and Miami as he continues to recover from knee surgery. The Aussie underwent an arthroscopic procedure to clean up his lateral meniscus and remove a paralabral cyst in the final week of January and is still not ready to compte.

The 19th-ranked Aussie was forced to miss the 2023 Australian Open due to the injury as well. He has not played since October of 2022, when he completed a fantastic season that saw him go 37-10 and reach his maiden Grand Slam final at Wimbledon.
