Joshua Kimmich was annoyed with himself after being despatched off simply 4 minutes into Bayern’s win over Darmstadt on Saturday.

Bayern Munich suffered an early setback in Saturday’s Bundesliga match towards Darmstadt when Joshua Kimmich was proven a straight crimson card simply 4 minutes into the sport.


The Germany worldwide misplaced possession to Marvin Mehlem on the again and was despatched off after being adjudged to have introduced him down.

Talking to reporters after the match, Kimmich took the blame for the crimson card, describing it as “silly and bitter”.

“At first I pulled him a bit, however he saved going. When he fell, there was no contact and I used to be not liable for him falling,” Kimmich mentioned.

“But it surely was positively my fault for shedding the ball within the first place. It was a really silly and bitter crimson card and I am aggravated that I am going to miss the Dortmund sport.”

Regardless of the early crimson card, Bayern went on to a dominant 8-0 win in a wild match through which Darmstadt have been lowered to 9 males.
