Australian Storm Hunter is thru to the ultimate spherical within the Miami Open ladies’s qualifying singles competitors.

Storm Hunter has scored a powerful come-from-behind victory to maintain her qualifying goals alive in Miami.

After contesting the Indian Wells doubles ultimate yesterday, the 29-year-old Australian travelled throughout America to take her place within the Miami Open qualifying competitors.

The world No.122 seemed in bother when she fell behind 2-4 within the deciding set of her opening-round match towards French veteran Alize Cornet.

However the decided Aussie managed to dig deep to report a 7-6(1) 2-6 6-4 victory towards the previous world No.11 on the WTA 1000 event.
