How to watch and follow Nottingham Forest v Man Utd at The City Ground 16 April

WHAT’S THE TEAM NEWS?

Erik ten Hag said after the Sevilla match that he “did not know” if Marcus Rashford would be available for the Forest game due to the muscle issue he suffered against Everton last week.

Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez were both forced off during the midweek Europa League clash, and have been ruled out by the boss for Sunday’s fixture.

Ten Hag did offer positivity with regards to Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay, however, with the duo also missing for Thursday’s quarter-final first leg.

In his pre-match press conference before Sunday’s Forest trip, he said: “For Sunday, yeah, [they] could be [involved]. But we have to see. We have now two sessions to go of training, so I don’t know by now. But it can be that Scott and Luke return in the squad, but [we are] not sure.”

Alejandro Garnacho and Donny van de Beek remain long-term absentees.

Forest have several issues to contend with ahead of Sunday’s game: Moussa Niakhate and Cheikhou Kouyate were both forced off with suspected hamstring injuries during last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Aston Villa.

Renan Lodi and Gustavo Scarpa could also be missing, as the duo missed the trip to Villa Park through injury. Dean Henderson, on loan from United, is ineligible to face his parent club and is also injured at present.
