Simon Rolfes has admitted {that a} summer season departure for Jeremie Frimpong is “fairly doable” amid stories suggesting the wing-back is near becoming a member of Liverpool.

Jeremie Frimpong seems to be only a medical away from leaving Bayer Leverkusen, with Liverpool reportedly ready to set off the €40 million launch clause in his contract.
Talking to Kicker, Bayer Leverkusen’s managing director for sport, Simon Rolfes, acknowledged that Frimpong will seemingly be on the transfer.
“It’s no secret that he has a launch clause and that there’s curiosity – maybe from England, maybe from Liverpool. We’ll see what occurs, nevertheless it’s fairly doable that Jerry will go away this summer season,” Rolfes stated.
Nevertheless, he emphasised that nothing has been finalized but.
“A medical is a medical. Nothing is remaining. I’ve been knowledgeable about some issues, we’re all knowledgeable about some issues. So sure, it may occur. Let’s wait and see.”
