FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Eintracht Frankfurt has signed Germany under-21 ahead Jessic Ngankam from Hertha Berlin on a five-year contract.
Frankfurt’s announcement on Friday will gas hypothesis that its star ahead Randal Kolo Muani might depart. The 24-year-old Kolo Muani, who scored 15 Bundesliga targets and arrange 16 extra in his debut season, has been linked with Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Hertha, which was relegated from the Bundesliga final season, mentioned it had executed all it might to attempt to persuade Ngankam to remain. The 22-year-old Ngankam had joined Hertha as a 6-year-old.

Ngankam spent the 2021-22 season on mortgage at Greuther Furth. Altogether he scored eight targets in 43 Bundesliga appearances.
“As a younger participant with nice growth potential, Jessic matches in completely with our technique,” Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche mentioned. “We’re happy that he determined to affix Eintracht Frankfurt regardless of different attention-grabbing affords.
