Fan’s Spooky Prediction for MS Dhoni & Co. Goes Viral Following Chennai Super Kings’ Win In IPL 2023 Qualifier 1

Chennai Super Kings displayed a magnificent performance with both bat and ball in Qualifier 1 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 as they thumped Gujarat Titans by 15 runs to book their berth in the final of the tournament. They entered their record 10th final in the league. 

Asked to bat first, Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad yet again provided Chennai Super Kings with a blistering start at the top. The duo stitched 87 runs for the opening partnership that set the tempo for the team and based on some vital contributions the Dhoni-led side posted a total of 172 runs.

However, after the first innings, a fan on Twitter did a wild prediction that has now gone viral. The Twitter user predicted that Chennai Super Kings will win the game by 15 runs and eventually that happened.

GT vs CSK: “It’s hard work of 2 months,” says MS Dhoni after Chennai Super Kings’ Win 

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni opened up about the win against GT. He said that it was hard work of two months and everyone contributed throughout the tournament. He said: 

“IPL is too big to say it’s just another final. Used to be 8 top teams, now it’s 10. I won’t say it’s just another final. It’s hard work of 2 months. Everybody has contributed. Yes, middle-order has not got ample opportunity. GT are a fantastic team and they’ve chased very well, so the thought was to get them in.”  

Chennai Super Kings will now be seen in action when the final takes place on Sunday (28th May) at the Narendra Modi International Stadium in Ahmedabad.
