FA launch model new investigation into Sandro Tonali’s actions at Newacastle

The FA has opened an investigation into whether or not Sandro Tonali has been concerned in betting after his transfer to Newcastle United from AC Milan this summer season.

The Athletic have since revealed that the FA at the moment are wanting into Tonali’s actions at St James’ Park which might see his punishment elevated.

Talking on Friday, Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth was requested about the potential for the FA opening an investigation.

“All I can say to you is that now we have totally cooperated with all the associations and organisations involved and the FA are, after all, totally conscious of what’s happening,” he mentioned.

“They’re those who needed to sanction the ban so we’re totally cooperating with all people.”
