Erling Haaland’s fledgling bromance with Jack Grealish took a slight knock when the Norwegian poured champagne over his teammate’s head during Manchester City’s open-top bus parade.
An hour or so later and the England international was up to his usual antics, although his celebrations on the open-top bus were put to a stop for several eye-watering seconds.
As you can see in the footage below, a mischievous Haaland decided to drench his teammate with some champagne – a gesture that left Grealish speechless for the first time in days.
Grealish and his City teammates celebrated their Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League-winning campaign with an open-top bus parade through Manchester city centre.
They departed from Tonman Street, Deansgate, at 18:30 before travelling to St Mary’s Gate, Cross Street, King Street, Princess Street and Portland Street.
A live stage show will take place on Oxford Street, with onstage entertainment starting at 17:30 with the players expected to arrive at approximately 19:30, although the parade was delayed after poor weather conditions.

A statement from the club read: “Due to reports of adverse weather conditions and localised lightning storms, which are expected to reach Manchester city centre shortly, access to the stage show site on Oxford Street will be delayed.
“Gates for the stage show will no longer open at 17:00 and the stage show will not begin at 17:30.
“This decision has been taken in the interests of safety by Manchester City Council in conjunction with the Club and other local stakeholders, who have consulted with meteorologists and the Met Office.”
