Emil Forsberg will depart RB Leipzig when the switch window opens in January, based on Bild.

The 32-year-old Swede is about to hitch Main League Soccer’s New York Purple Bulls, based on the German tabloid.

Talks about extending his contract, which expires in 2025, have reportedly taken place up to now, however to no avail. Forsberg is alleged to be searching for a brand new problem this winter.

Forsberg moved to Leipzig from his homeland in January 2015 and has since made 318 appearances for the membership, scoring 69 targets and offering 67 assists.

Solely Lukas Klostermann and Yussuf Poulsen have spent extra time with RB Leipzig.
