RB Leipzig boss Max Eberl says the membership will do the whole lot of their energy to maintain Xavi Simons on the membership past the tip of the season.
Earlier this month, RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose revealed his want to maintain Paris Saint-Germain loanee Xavi Simons past the tip of the season, when his mortgage expires.
RB Leipzig managing director for sport Max Eberl is seemingly absolutely on board with this plan.
“In fact now we have the intention to increase [his stay] in the very best case,” Eberl informed Kicker.
“Xavi has made an excellent begin and he is on an excellent run in the meanwhile.”
Leipzig do not have an choice to purchase the younger Dutchman, however stay hopeful of preserving him anyway.
“I feel we’re binding him emotionally to RB Leipzig. He identifies with us, with the crew and the membership,” Eberl stated.
“We’re making an attempt to get him to stick with us longer in the summertime of 2024.”
Simons’ contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs till 2027.
