Austin Krajicek, Grand Slam doubles champion and World No.1… Austin Krajicek, flame thrower…
Krajicek, fresh off his maiden Grand Slam doubles title with Ivan Dodig, was on hand to throw out the first pitch at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, ahead of Wednesday’s game between the Rangers and the Angels.
It was a special moment for Krajicek, who won the 2011 NCAA doubles title and is a member of the Texas A&M Hall of Fame. Krajicek was a four-time doubles All-American and a Two-Time singles All-American.
He owns a 170-131 lifetime record in doubles on tour, with ten titles.
Krajicek is the 20th American to hold the ATP’s No.1 doubles ranking – all 20 of them have played college tennis.
