Dortmund reject Aston Villa’s first bid for Malen

Sky Germany studies that Borussia Dortmund have rejected an preliminary bid from Aston Villa for Donyell Malen.

Borussia Dortmund have turned down an preliminary bid of €16 million plus add-ons from Aston Villa for Donyell Malen, in keeping with Sky Germany.

The Premier League facet have responded by upping their bid to €18 million plus add-ons, in keeping with each Sky and The Athletic.

It is uncertain that this will likely be sufficient to steer Dortmund to promote, nonetheless, with Sky reporting that the Black and Yellows need greater than €20 million assured, and Ruhr Nachrichten suggesting they demand a minimum of €25 million plus bonuses.

However, it appears lifelike that an settlement will finally be reached, with each Dortmund and Malen reportedly eager to make the deal occur.

Malen has struggled for normal begins this season. He joined Dortmund from PSV in 2021 for a reported charge of €30 million.
