Australia’s Heath Davidson makes an emphatic begin to his Australian Open 2024 doubles marketing campaign alongside Canadian accomplice Robert Shaw.

Heath Davidson has launched his Australian Open 2024 quad wheelchair doubles marketing campaign emphatically, combining with world No.5 Canadian Robert Shaw to assert a straight-sets victory.

The pair breezed previous Australian Finn Broadbent and Brit Gregory Slade to achieve the semifinals.

Davidson, the world No.4 doubles participant, is one step nearer to a fifth doubles title at Melbourne Park and his first with Shaw.

The Melburnian received 4 consecutive titles together with his buddy and countryman, Dylan Alcott, between 2018 and 2021.

Davidson and Shaw teamed to play common doubles after Alcott’s retirement in 2022. Whereas they’re but to win a Grand Slam collectively, Davidson hopes he and Shaw can declare a breakthrough this weekend.

“Me and Rob (Shaw) have gotten an ideal relationship. I feel the bromance has modified from me and Dylan (Alcott) to me and Rob,” joked Davidson, who was a runner-up with Shaw at Roland Garros and Wimbledon final yr.
