SINGAPORE — Brooks Koepka shot a 3-under 68 on Sunday to win the LIV Golf match, his fourth victory on the circuit.
Koepka completed 15-under 201 for the three rounds, two forward of Australians Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith. Leishman completed with a 66 and Smith a 64 on the Sentosa Golf Membership.
Talor Gooch shot 67 and completed in fourth place, 3 strokes behind Koepka.
Koepka has 4 LIV titles to go along with 5 main championships. The newest was the PGA in 2023. Koepka was the seventh completely different winner in seven occasions this season.
“It is all beginning to come round,” Koepka mentioned in his postmatch interview. “I’ve put in a number of work, I really feel like, on the golf course, off the golf course. And it has been a very good two weeks to say the least.”
Jon Rahm, who has but to win after becoming a member of LIV in December, ended 6 strokes behind after a 67. He completed tied for tenth. Rahm is the one participant to have completed within the prime 10 in all seven occasions in 2024.
The crew title went to Ripper GC, led by Leishman and Smith. The crew was 32-under for the match, three forward of two different squads — Fireball GC and Cleeks GC.
“I knew that we had it in us, and thought it was only a matter of time,” Smith mentioned in his postmatch interview. “It took us a bit of bit to get going, however that is how we anticipate to play and that is how we need to preserve taking part in.”
