Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham has four clubs in for him this summer

Four clubs are in for Jude Bellingham, who could cost a whopping €150 million this summer.

Birmingham City’s youngest ever player at the age of 16, there was monumental laughter when he had his shirt number retired by the club.

But Bellingham has since gone on to achieve great things and after a stellar World Cup campaign, The Athletic say a slew of leading European clubs are competing for his signature.

They also have a strong rapport with Dortmund but the stumbling block for Los Blancos is the finances required, with Real not able to afford the asking price and instead setting a limit on how much they are willing to spend on him.

For that reason, Bellingham, contracted until 2025, would appear much likely to head to the Premier League.

Liverpool have earmarked him as their No.1 target and he is a fan of both the club and manager Jurgen Klopp, who still has good links with his ex employers.

It’s said he “wouldn’t necessarily be put off by the club’s recent blip”, which included a 5-2 humbling at the hands of Real in the Champions League on Tuesday.

United were viewed as outsiders previously but things have improved massively under Erik ten Hag and they look like they are on their way back again.

Plus, a potential takeover could mean they have no problem forking out a big fee. The same can be said for City, even with the ongoing investigation into their alleged financial breaches.

There’s no guarantee that Bellingham leaves Dortmund for pastures new in the summer, with the report claiming it wouldn’t be a surprise if “he extends his contract by a year with a set buyout clause for the following summer”.
