Hypothesis linking Alphonso Davies with Actual Madrid has intensified of late, with a latest report from The Athletic claiming that the Bayern Munich left-back has already reached a verbal settlement with the Spanish giants.

On Tuesday, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen and new board member for sport Max Eberl had been requested concerning the hypothesis.

“In Alphonso, we’ve a participant who has developed excellently on the left flank, not solely due to his pace, but in addition due to his character and his openness in recent times. We’re speaking to his agent. We’ll see how difficult it’s,” Dreesen stated, including:

“Max [Eberl] will now be concerned within the context. Christoph [Freund] has already talked about it. However a part of rebuilding the squad and including to the squad is wanting on the huge image, and that will depend on how the 2 of them see the longer term.”

With Davies’ contract as a result of expire in 2025, Bayern are naturally cautious of dropping the Canadian worldwide for nothing.

“We’ll talk about the present scenario after which we’ll decide. In fact, it is by no means good to lose a participant on a free switch. No membership needs that. I do not assume Bayern Munich need it both,” stated Eberl.

“In case you wished to promote him, for those who could not get a contract extension, then after all you would need to act beforehand.”
