The Australian 16-and-under group has made a powerful begin on the 2023 Junior Billie Jean King Cup Finals in Spain.
With two wins from their opening two round-robin matches, the Australian group has sealed their development to the quarterfinals.
Tahlia Kokkinis, a 15-year-old from Brisbane, has gained each of her singles matches to date, whereas 15-year-old Emerson Jones and 14-year-old Koharu Nishikawa are unbeaten in doubles.
Jones, from the Gold Coast, is Australia’s top-ranked junior at world No.11.
The Australian group performs its last round-robin match towards the Czech Republic in Cordoba on Wednesday (from 8.30pm AEDT).
