Olivia Gadecki is the highest seed in a star-studded ITF 60 ladies’s singles draw on the Brisbane QTC Tennis Worldwide.
The world No.128, who scored her first Grand Slam main-draw win on the Australian Open in January and certified on the US Open in August, is trying to end a career-best season strongly.
The 21-year-old from the Gold Coast will face fierce competitors from compatriots Priscilla Hon, Daria Saville and Jaimee Fourlis.

Tristan Schoolkate, a 22-year-old from Perth, and Blake Ellis, a 24-year-old Brisbane native, are the top-ranked Aussie hopes within the ITF 25 males’s singles competitors.
Blake Mott, one other two-time champion on the Australian Professional Tour this season, can also be one to look at.

The qualifying competitors started on Sunday, with a number of of Australia’s main juniors testing themselves at professional degree. Cruz Hewitt, the son of former world No.1 Lleyton Hewitt, progressed to the ultimate qualifying spherical, as did 15-year-old Emerson Jones, who not too long ago broke into the world’s prime 10 within the junior rankings.
