What we all know: Andy Murray had surgical procedure on a spinal cyst on Saturday.

What we don’t know: whether or not or not the two-time Wimbledon champion will flip as much as play Wimbledon.

A tweet by the ATP saying that Murray would miss Wimbledon has been deleted, and Murray is at the moment holding onto hope, with only a smidge over every week left till foremost draw play begins at Wimbledon.

“He clearly went by a process yesterday, and you need to wait and see now,” British Davis Cup Captain Leon Smith instructed the BBC on Sunday, per Reuters. “My understanding isn’t any resolution has been made and let’s hope for the very best for Andy.”

It is wait-and-see time for Murray this week, because the 37-year-old exams his restoration with Wimbledon entrance and heart, and the 2024 Paris Olympics lurking not too far within the distance…

In response to Stuart Fraser of the London Instances: “Murray has not withdrawn from Wimbledon because it stands. He underwent minor surgical procedure on his again on Saturday and is now weighing up his restoration. The All England Membership has left open a doubles wild card for Andy and his brother Jamie within the meantime.”
