“Once I’m 4, 5 and 6, I am enjoying with my dad within the backyard, then Sir Bobby would come spherical. And once I was 15-16, my dad was enjoying numerous charity video games… He all the time used to say to me: ‘Deliver your boots… you may get a recreation!'” Paul laughs.
“Each time, they performed me. George Finest performed one recreation, Bobby [would play], Paddy Crerand, David Sadler, Nobby Stiles, Kiddo [Brian Kidd] most likely performed. They’d flip up with a plastic bag [with their boots in], it was like Sunday League soccer! It was like ‘If Carlsberg did…’ You recognize, that advert.’ Doubtless, each recreation, Bobby was majestic. He was probably the most aggressive man on the market…
