Klugman defeated American Tyra Grant 6-3, 6-3 on Sunday on the gree Har-Tru clay in Plantation, Florida to finish her title run and turn into the primary British girl to ever win the distinguished junior title.

Klugman joins a lofty checklist that features present Grand Slam champions Coco Gauff, Sofia Kenin, Bianca Andreescu, Caroline Wozniacki in addition to legends Chris Evert and Maria Bueno.

Danil Panarin of Russia received the Boys’ 18s title, defeating Luca Preda of Romania 6-4, 6-1. 18-year-old Panarin is the Sixtieth-ranked junior on the ITF Tour.

Previous winners among the many males are Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, Jim Courier, Dominic Thiem and Frances Tiafoe, Klugman reached the US Open Ladies’ quarterfinals in September and was a runner-up in doubles on the Wimbledon Ladies’ event in July (partnering Isabelle Lacy).

Earlier this season on the skilled circuit, Klugman turned the youngest participant to qualify for a W100 event on the ITF World Tennis Tour after incomes her place in the primary draw – and happening to achieve the quarter-finals – at W100 Shrewsbury.

She is presently the 14th-ranked junior.
